{THIRSTday} 1/3/13




First {THIRSTday} post of the new year and first post of the new year! I've been out of town for a few days and I have lots of catching up to do on my blog, at home, and to get ready to head back into the classroom Monday.  I'm working on my reading and personal goals and will be posting those, hopefully, today.  Make sure to head over to David Etkin's blog,  the host of THIRSTday. 






Today, I have three books for my reading plan:


I'm rereading a personal favorite from my childhood: Just as Long as We're Together by Judy Blume.  I need to catch up with my reading of Book Love by Penny Kittle for the chat today on Twitter at 8:00 PM EST (follow hashtag #booklove). And accomplishing my Book-a-Day for today with David Shannon's How Georgie Radbourn Saved Baseball.

    I have not read that Judy Blume book....looks good! I love Tales of a 4th grade Nothing! :)

      I think I read Just As Long as We're together at least 100 times when I was young. My copy was completely tattered and torn. Should've kept it. :/
