Quick post to share a couple of cards I made recently playing with techniques.
This first card I played with a technique I learned during the Clean and Simple 2 card class that ended just a little bit ago. After embossing using an embossing folder, you gently swipe ink over the top of it. In the class, Jennifer McGuire created her own rainbow stamp pad, but in my stash I already had a ColorBox rainbow ink pad and just used that.
In this card I practiced using Inktense Pencils with a stamp a friend generously gave me. I thought this one came out quite darling! :) (excuse my mess in the background... need to work on my picture taking skills...)
Thanks for looking! Hope you do something crafty today! :)

{THIRSTday} 2.28.13
Please visit David Etkin at his blog the host of THIRSTday!
So I am in serious need of some book-a-day! February was a SLOOOOOOOW reading month for me. March is upon us and it is "March madness" for many reasons, so not sure how much reading I will be getting done. I have many books in my ever growing TBR pile! In that pile are the following picture books:
And my water cup with all its bright, cheery colors and the weather warming up here in Southern CA. makes me more eager for Spring Break (still four weeks away, but still...)
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Reading!
