Last week was the first week of a new online card class, Clean and Simple Card Making 2 over at www.onlinecardclasses.com. It was tough to get around playing with the new techniques during the week, but finally had some time this past weekend to play with a few of the ideas I learned from the first week of class.
This first card demonstrates what I learned on Day 2 (I haven't played around with day 1 ideas yet): One Layer Cards: Faux artist. I need to work on my shading technique using Distress Inks; my inking always comes out splotchy. :/
This second picture show what I learned on day three of class with Gradient Stamping. This was a lot of fun to play around with, and I think this will be a technique I will use often. :)
Next card is from Day 4: Plainly White
I haven't had a chance to play around with the techniques taught on Day 5 of class: One Stamp, Three Ways or the bonus material from Saturday which was about die-cutting.
Today started the second week of class which I am eagerly looking forward to. I'm also hoping to carve time during the week to practice and play with the techniques and ideas that I learn.
Thanks for stopping by!
